Job summary

Bluebird Care Cheshire West and Flintshire is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our expert team and deliver high-quality home care across Flintshire and surrounding areas. You will support customers in daily living with independence and dignity, working either independently or as part of a supportive team.

We offer full induction, ongoing expert training, and a competitive hourly rate (£13.50–£16.88).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal preparation, nutrition and hydration.
• Support with medications, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly face for customers.
• Full induction and ongoing expert training.
• Uniform and PPE provided.
• Regular support and ongoing career development.
• Friendly, inclusive team with 24/7 support.
• DBS checking and references as required.

Requirements

• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care

• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided
• Full Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
