Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient EV Technical Auditor to assess and ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of EV systems and components. This role is critical in maintaining industry standards, regulatory compliance, and product integrity throughout the EV lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- This is an office based role where you will deal remotely with onsite installation issues.
- Assist engineers offering technical solutions on the phone or via live chat.
- Offer technical support to other departments e.g. Compliance and aftercare.
- Communicate clearly to customers offering solutions, recommendations, and reassurance.
- Carry out desktop audits on all completed installations looking for any compliance issues that may require the engineer to re-attend if the job is not 100% compliant.
- Update BOXT admin platform regularly to ensure all recommendations, technical knowledge and information is being recorded for each job.
- Review internal/external audit information.
- Support internal teams in developing corrective action plans and verifying implementation.
- Stay up to date with evolving EV regulations, safety requirements, and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with other teams where necessary to ensure the business needs are met (DNO/Application team).
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation and an NVQ Level 3 (Desired but not essential)
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in EV systems, electrical installations (Desired but not essential)
- Solid understanding of EV components.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
- Experience with audit methodologies (internal, external, supplier audits).
- Strong analytical, communication, and technical reporting skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Installation experience of EV Chargers/Equipment.
