Job summary

Simpsons SKODA Group in Preston is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Executive apprentice to work in the automotive EV sector. You will engage customers, explain eMobility benefits, and tailor electrified vehicle options to their needs.

The role includes consultations on EV batteries, home charging, and negotiating offers. Training spans virtual, remote and in-person blocks, with mandatory travel to the Volkswagen Group National Learning Centre for 18 months of instruction.

Qualifications

• Interest in eMobility and automotive technology.
• Willingness to travel to Milton Keynes for training.

Responsibilities

• Answering customers' eMobility queries and redirecting complex questions.
• Explain benefits of investing in eMobility to customers.
• Offer suitable electrified vehicles based on customer needs.
• Explain EV components in an easy-to-understand way.
• Provide consultations on EV batteries and charging.
• Explain and sell battery charging at home via wallboxes.
• Use dealership systems and ordering systems.
• Explain production and delivery timelines to customers.
• Negotiate during vehicle sales.
• Draw up new vehicle offers including insurance, financing and trade-ins.
• Collaborate with workshop and management to deliver customer experience.
