WLMG is seeking a Vehicle Technician Level 3 for our MG retailer in Upminster, Essex. The role offers a five‑day working week (Mon–Fri, no weekends) with a competitive basic salary dependent on experience and bonus schemes.

The ideal candidate will be apprenticeship-trained to NVQ Level 3 with EV qualification preferred; EV training will be provided for the right candidate. Manufacturer training will enable progression.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• EV qualification preferred (training provided for right candidate).
• Automotive repair experience (2 years preferred).
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach, and rectify them accurately.
• Meet with customers to identify technical problems and understand them.
• Keep up-to-date with latest MG vehicle technology and how to diagnose/repair faults.
• Perform diagnosis, repairs and servicing to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and workshop controllers for updates and times.
• Complete service documentation (PDIs, health checks, service reports) per warranty/dealership requirements.
• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and road testing.
• Maintain workshop equipment and facilities for safety and longevity.
