Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is hiring an EV Operator to support the production line. You will assist with bird hanging, crop checks, and operate as a machine minder to keep machinery running safely and efficiently.

You will ensure products meet customer specifications by checking weights, sizes and quality, and report defects with root-cause analysis. Training in Health & Safety and Food Safety is provided in-house, with promotion opportunities and overtime available.

Job Description

Your Job as a EV Operator is to support the efficient running of the production line by assisting with bird hanging, checking crops during processing, and operating as a machine minder to ensure machinery runs safely and effectively.

Product quality is everyone’s responsibility, and the highest standards of quality must be maintained throughout all stages of the manufacturing process.

In your specific role this includes carrying out tasks in line with documented procedures and ensuring the products that we produce meet customer specifications.

You will consistently refer to the relevant customer specification sheets to ensure that the portions / products that are being packed are in accordance with the agreed weight and size parameters and that there are no visible quality issues with the product e.g. excessive bruising, poor cutting standards, bone fragments, or excess fat

You are responsible for identifying and reporting any product defects or deviations to specifications and removing those products from the line. This should also include a root cause analysis to help identify what caused the quality issue. You will also coach others to ensure they fully understand and adhere to the relevant customer specification sheets

Qualifications

As an EV Operator you will have a passion for delivering high standards of skills whilst making sure our H&S, Food Safety and Quality standards are met. You will be prepared to learn and work well in a busy, fast paced environment.
