Job summary

Crem Recruitment Ltd. in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a growing workshop within an automotive dealership group.

You will service, maintain and repair passenger and light commercial vehicles, diagnose faults using modern equipment, and work with hybrid and EV technology. The ideal candidate has NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, around five years of experience, and an MOT Tester qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Essential).
• Experience as Vehicle Technician (ideally 5 years).
• Experience with modern vehicle systems and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on passenger and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Work with hybrid and EV technology.
• Undertake warranty repairs and document work.
• Produce accurate electronic vehicle health reports.
• Carry out MOT testing where qualified.
• Complete repairs on brakes, suspension, steering, tyres and air conditioning.
• Support junior Technicians and coordinate with service staff.
• Collaborate with workshop team to maintain workflow.
