Job summary

Operating out of our modern, state-of-the-art dealership facility in Worthing, this full-time, permanent role offers a guaranteed base salary of £32,000-£36,000 with OTE up to £42,000 (including £6,000 performance bonus). You will specialise in EV/Hybrid systems and receive fully funded manufacturer training as part of your progression.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 or 3 and hands-on dealership experience, with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Hands-on mechanical experience in a dealership, fast-fit center, or independent garage.
• Interest or basic qualifications in EV/Hybrid systems; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and health checks across ICE, Hybrid, and fully Electric vehicles.
• Learning high-voltage safety procedures, battery health checks, and EV system maintenance under manufacturer guidelines.
• Supporting Senior Technicians with core mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension setups, timing belts/chains, and clutches.
• Utilizing modern diagnostic tools to locate, trace, and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Maintaining accurate job cards and collaborating smoothly with service advisors and workshop controllers.
