Job description

EV Maintenance Electrician - Overview

We are working with one of the largest manufacturers and installers of Electric Vehicle Charge Points in the UK who are looking for an EV Maintenance Electrician to join their team in the East Anglia/Northern Home Counties area. They are ideally looking for someone with experience in fault finding, breakdowns, and maintenance on EV charge points; however, they can offer full training with the role.

Day to day, you will work on a mobile basis, travelling to different EVCP to carry out maintenance and repairs on the manufacturers' own brand of EV Chargers. You will be given full technical training on these when you start. The company has an in-house technical support team that logs faults with systems via their remote monitoring system. They will often be able to identify the fault and try to get it working remotely; however, when they can't, you will be sent to site to carry out the repair.

Though there is travel involved in the role, your travelling time is INCLUDED within your working hours. You will travel throughout East Anglia and Northern Home Counties; however, you will still leave home at 07:30/8:00 am, travel to site, carry out the repairs, and then once your jobs are complete, you will head home. Your travel time is included within your 40 hours, so although the patch is slightly larger, you won't be expected to do all of the driving on top of an 8-hour day, rather within an 8-hour day.
