MDE is seeking skilled and reliable EV Electricians to join one of our key clients, who specialises in the installation and maintenance of renewable energy projects. This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who is confident in fault finding and committed to delivering high standards of safety and service.

EV Electrician
Coventry, Northampton, Cambridge, Peterborough
£35,000-£40,000 + vehicle, fuel card, etc.

MDE is seeking skilled and reliable EV Electricians to join one of our key clients, who specialises in the installation and maintenance of renewable energy projects. This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who is confident in fault finding and committed to delivering high standards of safety and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspection, and testing of EV charge points
  • Diagnose and repair faults on AC and DC chargers.
  • Perform reactive and planned service visits sites
  • Carry out EICRs.
  • Replace faulty components, update firmware, and reset systems.
  • Ensure compliance with IET Wiring Regulations and manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain accurate records of all site visits, works carried out, and parts used
  • Liaise with technical support teams and end-users to resolve issues efficiently
  • Support site surveys, charger upgrades, and commissioning when required
Requirements
