About the Role: Source is a data-led, data-driven organisation and the primary focus of the role will be to manage the day-to-day data analytics processes and outputs, supporting our key business units to derive value and efficiency from data.

Located on a field-based hybrid basis in the United Kingdom.

Summary of the role.

What is the Role?

  • This role will sit within the Data and Technology Team of Source EV providing analytical and technical support on data across the business and beyond.
  • As the EV Data Analyst you will take responsibility for data management, internal reporting, data queries and external publication of data, working with other members of the team and wider business as required.
  • You will be providing support for operational and business support functions, covering compliance data such as the Public Charge Point Regulations 2023 and live operational data related to revenue collection and energy sales.
  • Working for the Business Insights Manager, you will support with internal dashboarding, management information and key operational stakeholders to ensure up to date, clear, concise information is used across our estate.
  • You’ll need to develop strong relationships with the operational teams, external technology and professional services suppliers and the management team to leverage data to support optimal safety, financial and commercial performance.

For this role, we’d love you to have:

  • Hands‑on experience with Azure data services (Logic Apps, Data Factory, etc.); experience with Microsoft Fabric is a big bonus.
  • Proven track record building Power BI dashboards and reports, including data modelling and DAX measures.
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and lightweight ETL scripting would be beneficial plus SQL skills for querying both relational and semi‑structured data.
  • Practical knowledge of one or more CPO platform would be helpful, with knowledge of the EV charging market, specifically ultra-rapid EV charging hubs, and/or automotive or energy sectors being advisable.

Required skills, experience and qualifications

  • Proven experience in a data analysis (or similar) role, ideally within utilities, energy, transport or tech.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
  • A learning mindset and collaborative approach to working, with the understanding that we work within a wider, international ecosystem.

Salary & Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary & entitlements, plus excellent healthcare, pension and wellbeing benefits, along with generous Life Insurance & Group Income Protection Insurance. Annual holiday of 26 days contractual leave, plus bank holidays, with enhanced maternity/paternity leave and benefits.

Location: Field Based. Although you must be prepared to travel to our Canary Wharf office in London and other business locations and sites as required in the UK.

This role is offered on a permanent Full-Time basis of 37 hours per week, 5 days per week Monday to Friday. Whilst this role requires consistent hours due to operational demands, we are open to discussing options in accordance with our ‘Flexible First’ guidelines.
