Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Project Manager in Southampton to lead Urban Fox EV charging installations. You will coordinate internal teams, clients, partners and subcontractors to deliver projects on time, on budget and to high standards.

Your role covers planning, procurement, compliance, and stakeholder management across multiple sites, with travel to meet clients and represent the company at industry events.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering EV charging infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across locations.
• Willingness to travel and hold a driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control construction and installation of EV charging sites.
• Ensure partner/sub-contractor activities comply with regulations and laws.
• Assist in planning methodology and monitor progress against dates.
• Secure permissions from design to commissioning; manage on-site health & safety and sustainability.
• Audit sites operated by partners/sub-contractors and manage external relationships.
• Estimate overheads, materials, labour and equipment for tenders.
• Collaborate with Sales/Commercial teams to support tender bids.
