Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking an experienced EV Technician/Automotive Mechanic to service and retrofit electric autonomous fleet vehicles. You will diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and AV systems, perform hardware retrofits, and keep precise service records.

Role requires 4–8 years in automotive maintenance, strong diagnostic skills, and a willingness to stay current with autonomous vehicle technology. Competitive shifts and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years’ hands-on automotive maintenance experience.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and AV/EV systems.
• Experience with hardware retrofits and AV hardware replacement.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, and maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and integrated systems of EV/AV vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, A/C, and autonomous vehicle issues.
• Conduct hardware retrofits and AV hardware replacements.
• Update software/firmware and document work.
• Collaborate with engineers and service teams to troubleshoot issues.
