Job summary

BP plc in Milton Keynes is looking for a Performance & Asset Optimization Lead to drive the commercial and operational performance of our EV charging network. You will own performance visibility, identify under-performance, and lead optimisation initiatives to improve availability, reliability and margin across the portfolio.

Reporting to the Asset Manager, you will manage the outsourced O&M provider, ensure SLAs are met, and promote data-driven decision making to deliver measurable improvements

Qualifications

• Experience in operations and maintenance, including maintenance planning.
• Ability to design and lead performance management frameworks—setting KPIs, governance, and accountability across teams.
• Clear communication of insights, risks, and priorities to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as day-to-day lead for the O&M contract under CAM delegation.
• Manage OEM performance data on reliability, defect resolution, and warranty obligations.
• Collaborate with Network Commercial to define and improve internal service levels for maintenance.
• Design performance management frameworks aligned with asset strategy and regional priorities.
• Facilitate portfolio reviews and monitor progress against improvement plans.
