Arnold Clark in Stirling is seeking a skilled Mechanic to service and repair cars to high standards and diagnose issues using modern diagnostic tools. You’ll work on a wide range of manufacturers within a supportive team, while staying up to date with the latest vehicle technology.

There is a generous package including 33 days leave, flexible hours, toolbox cover and clear progression routes, with EV accreditation training provided.

Qualifikationen

• A certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid work experience in the automotive industry.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a busy team.
• Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach and full driving licence.

Aufgaben

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspecting engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues with diagnostic equipment.
• Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts.
• Carrying out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised).
• Road testing vehicles to check repairs; maintaining equipment and tools.
• Following checklists to complete procedures.
• Completing all documentation to required standard.
