Language Business in Chester is recruiting an Indirect Tax Accountant to join its European Tax Centre of Excellence. You will support VAT compliance across several European jurisdictions and work with stakeholders across finance and tax in a multinational environment.

Qualificações

• Experience in VAT or indirect tax compliance.
• Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• ERP experience with SAP/Oracle advantageous.
• Exposure to European/international VAT compliance desired.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and submit VAT and indirect tax returns across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Manage Intrastat declarations, SAF-T filings, sales listings, and other compliance requirements.
• Coordinate VAT return reviews, approvals and submissions.
• Prepare VAT payment requests and maintain tax documentation.
• Perform VAT and sales ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support internal stakeholders with VAT queries and compliance guidance.
• Assist with tax authority audits and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance obligations are met accurately within deadlines.
