Are you experienced in European road freight operations and looking for a new challenge? We're currently seeking a proactive and commercially minded European Transport Operator to join a dynamic and growing team in the Tamworth area.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the strategic coordination of road freight across Europe. You will optimise trailer usage, minimise empty mileage, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage truck and trailer routes across Europe to maximise efficiency and profitability
  • Coordinate collections/deliveries and maintain real-time communication with stakeholders
  • Source backloads using freight exchanges to reduce empty mileage
  • Manage ferry bookings and ensure proper customs documentation
  • Adapt plans when required to meet service expectations
  • Monitor live delays and communicate proactively
  • Handle administrative duties such as costing shipments, passing invoices, and updating shipment records
  • Ensure compliance with transport, customs, and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain high customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
