About Our Client

My client are a market leading manufacturer of sporting goods. Their brands are highly recognisable and are widely used in sport across the globe, featuring regularly on Skysports.

Over the last 4 - 5 years, the business have continued to go from strength to strength, delivering a number of consecutive years of year on year growth. Over the years they have hired and developed an excellent sales team, and they are looking for an ambitious candidate, who wants to join this exciting team and grow a career.

Job Description

The European Sales Manager - Germany + Benelux:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow sales across Europe - with a key focus on Germany, Netherlands and Belgium
  • Identify, secure, and manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and e-commerce trade partners.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across the region.
  • Monitor sales performance and trends, providing detailed reporting and actionable insights.
  • Negotiate and close trade deals that drive profitability and long-term partnerships.
  • Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align regional promotions, launches, and merchandising strategies.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, events, and partner meetings across Europe.
  • Ensure compliance with EU trade regulations and company policies.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful European Sales Manager - Germany + Benelux:

  • A proven track record within international sales, for a sporting goods, FMCG or Consumer business
  • Strong network of contacts within retail and distribution across Europe
  • Experience of working within the German and Dutch or Belgian markets
  • Fluent German speaker is desired
  • Deep understanding of EU trade regulations, pricing strategies, and cross-border logistics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
  • Target driven achiever.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills - written and verbal.
  • A flexible / home based role, with frequent travel to Europe and some travel to my client's office.

What's on Offer

The Successful European Sales Manager - Germany + Benelux:

  • £65,000 - £75,000 per annum base salary
  • 10% Bonus, with stretch potential
