Job summary

Ziegler UK is seeking a Road Freight Operator for our Import Groupage team at London Gateway. You will manage end-to-end European groupage services and coordinate freight movements nationally and internationally with a dedicated team.

You will prepare paperwork and strive for high customer satisfaction. The role requires at least 2 years’ experience in European road freight operations, along with accuracy in cost calculations and familiarity with customs paperwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in European road freight operations.
• Strong understanding of taxable kilos and the ability to manually calculate costs/charges.
• Experience with customs paperwork.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end movement of groupage freight across Europe.
• Manage the day-to-day operations for our clients.
• Maintain communication with customers, overseas partners, and internal teams.
• Book and track shipments, helping to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Involvement in completing all necessary documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of service levels and customer satisfaction.
