Qualifications

We are working with an international Freight and Logistics provider, who are currently seeking an experienced European Road Freight Clerk to join their team based in Bradford.

Requirements for the position of European Road Freight Clerk:

• Experience within a freight forwarding environment essential
• Comprehensive knowledge of customs procedures and principles
• Experience with Sequoia software advantageous

General duties for the position of European Road Freight Clerk:

• Liaising with customers and overseas agents
• Load planning and liaising with hauliers
• Raising export documentation to enable trailers to transit UK Ports and Europe
• Customer service

To be the successful Roadfreight Customs Clerk, you will need to have at least 2 years of experience working within European Logistics or Customs positions.

We are keen to hear from candidates who have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with CDS and ASM Sequoia.

Employment details:

• Full-time / permanent
• Hours: 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday
• Salary: Circa £25k, depending on experience
