YOUR ROLE

Our European Finance team has an exciting opportunity for a data-savvy Financial Reporting Analyst who will oversee regional financial reporting and business intelligence tool testing to ensure concise, timely, and accurate data outputs for our Air & Ocean teams.

This pivotal role involves collaborating with a wide network of internal stakeholders, acting as a bridge between regional and in-country business controlling teams. We are looking for someone experienced in business intelligence and financial reporting, with strong relationship-building skills.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Retrieve and analyze data from legacy systems, building reports using BI tools.
• Create automated pathways for regular reports to maximize system capabilities.
• Build relationships with IT teams for system updates and testing.
• Understand freight forwarding activities to interpret data outputs.
• Be the key contact for regional reporting issues, implementing improvements.
• Streamline reporting processes, reducing risk and redundancy.
• Create and review work instructions for reports.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and reports as needed.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Proven experience in data reporting and analytics, knowledge of financial principles, and the ability to interpret and present complex financial reports are essential. Skills in financial systems, BI tools, report automation, and dashboard creation are required. A problem-solving mindset and stakeholder management skills are important. A Power BI Data Analyst certification or equivalent is desirable.

This role is hybrid and can be based anywhere in the UK, with a regular commute to our Ashby de la Zouch head office two days a week.
