YOUR ROLE

Our European Finance team has an exciting opportunity for a data-savvy Financial Reporting Analyst who will oversee regional financial reporting and business intelligence tool testing to ensure concise, timely, and accurate data outputs for our Air & Ocean teams.

This pivotal role involves collaborating with a wide network of internal stakeholders, acting as a bridge between regional and in-country business controlling teams. Therefore, we are looking for someone experienced in business intelligence and financial reporting, who can also build strong working relationships.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Retrieve and analyze data from legacy systems, building reports using BI tools and techniques.
• Create automated pathways for regular reports to maximize system and tool capabilities.
• Build relationships with IT teams to understand system updates and testing timelines.
• Understand freight forwarding activities to interpret data outputs effectively.
• Serve as the main contact for regional reporting issues, implementing improvements as needed.
• Streamline reporting processes and procedures to reduce risks and redundancies.
• Create and review work instructions for reports, sharing documentation centrally.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and reports as required.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Proven experience in data reporting and analytics, with knowledge of financial principles and the ability to interpret and present complex financial data to diverse audiences.

Skills in financial systems and BI tools, report automation, and dashboard creation are essential. A problem-solving mindset and ability to work with stakeholders across Europe are also required.

Desirable but not essential: Power BI Data Analyst certification or equivalent.

This role is hybrid and can be based anywhere in the UK, with regular commutes to our Ashby de la Zouch head office twice a week.
