Base pay range

Our client is a leading privately owned hospitality asset manager. They are renowned for their integrity, reliability and results, and invest, operate and advise each specific asset according to their own unique strategy. As part of their growth plan, they are investing in strong financial leadership and would like to add a European Finance Director to the UK based management team, who will report into the CFO.

Duties will include:

• Managing and mentoring a small high-quality and positive finance and tax team.
• Partnering with operations, legal, and compliance to align financial strategies.
• Driving strategic financial initiatives.
• Leading financial planning and risk management to optimise asset growth and profitability.
• Providing financial insights and ROI analysis for acquisitions.
• Overseeing tax planning to optimise after-tax performance across the portfolio.
• Advising on international tax, deal structuring, and European investment frameworks.
• Managing AML compliance and ESG financial reporting.
• Ensuring timely, accurate technical financial reporting (GAAP and IFRS).
• Providing executive level financial insights, trends, and growth opportunities.
• Driving cash flow management, working capital efficiency, and AI/BI-led reporting enhancements.
• Managing investment and bank debt covenant reporting.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), ideally starting your career within practice, post bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting.

Ideally, you will have worked in a multi-site European finance leadership role within real estate or asset management and have good tax understanding.

Excellent written and spoken presentation skills; you will be solutions-focused, have a commercial mindset with excellent stakeholder communication.
