Role Overview

As we modernise and align our Technology operations across Europe, we are undertaking a major transformation to implement a unified system platform and standardised best practices. European Business Process Owners (BPOs) are pivotal in defining requirements and shaping the future blueprint to meet evolving business demands.

We’re seeking a finance transformation expert to take on a unique opportunity: leading the design and execution of best-practice finance processes across Europe. As the European Finance BPO, you will drive the creation of a scalable, modern, data-led finance environment that fuels growth and innovation. You will partner with stakeholders across local markets and the wider group to define, standardise, and implement robust, future-ready finance processes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Design and lead best-practice finance processes across Europe, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and digitalisation initiatives in finance operations, collaborating with local and central teams.
  • Serve as the European finance lead on cross-functional transformation projects, including large-scale ERP and data platform implementations.
  • Coordinate with country-level process owners to build a strong internal network and promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Support local implementations by aligning with common standards, managing change, and assisting with process and data mapping.
  • Represent the finance function in strategic transformation and system initiatives regionally and globally.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong background in finance operations and transformation, preferably in an international setting.
  • Proven experience leading or supporting process redesign, ERP implementations, or finance operating model changes.
  • Deep knowledge of finance data structures, reporting, and control environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across multiple countries and functions.
  • Analytical and structured mindset with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, effectively engaging and collaborating with diverse teams across multiple regions and functions

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance, transformation, or project management roles.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Excel/Office tools.
  • Experience in international security, technology, or service-driven industries is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, capable of leading cross-functional initiatives within complex, matrixed, multinational environments.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages advantageous.
