Job summary

The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Technical Services Manager - EUC to lead the End User Computing team and shape a modern, secure desktop environment for staff. You will oversee desktop images, application packaging, and deployment via VDI, MDM, and cloud AD/Azure integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and line-management experience in IT operations.
• Extensive Windows 11 desktop expertise and security focus.
• Experience deploying and managing VDI and desktop imaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EUC team (4 members) and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee desktop image management, packaging and deployment.
• Coordinate with Cyber Security, Compliance and Risk teams to reduce risk.
• Manage patching, AD/file services, and roaming/profile settings.
• Drive continuous improvement of desktop standards and processes.
