Job summary

La-Fosse-1 is seeking an EUC Consultant in Rugby to lead the transformation of a Windows device provisioning service. This role is 6 months, outside IR35, onsite 3 days per week, with a daily rate of £500-£600.

Role focuses on building modern, scalable endpoint provisioning using Autopilot, Intune and Entra ID, with hands-on delivery, remediation of issues and governance documentation for BAU teams.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Windows Gold Images for enterprise deployments.
• Hands-on Autopilot deployment and Intune configuration.
• Proficient with Entra ID and Conditional Access.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
• Experience with traditional imaging (SCCM/MECM/MDT).
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
• Experience aligning provisioning with governance and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and optimise Windows 10/11 Gold Images for enterprise deployment.
• Assess and troubleshoot the existing Windows laptop provisioning process.
• Design and implement a modern Autopilot and Intune deployment solution.
• Build automated, low-touch Windows provisioning processes.
• Configure and optimise Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID and compliance policies.
• Resolve issues with application deployment, device registration, hardware hashes, certificates and identity integration
• Improve provisioning performance, reduce manual intervention and introduce operational reporting
• Define end-to-end provisioning processes, SOPs and governance
• Produce technical documentation and deliver knowledge transfer to BAU support teams
• Deliver a full assessment of the existing provisioning service

We're looking for an experienced Endpoint Provisioning & Microsoft Autopilot Specialist to lead the transformation of a struggling Windows device provisioning service. This is a hands‑on delivery role where you'll assess the current environment, remediate issues, and implement a modern, scalable endpoint provisioning solution.

What You'll Be Doing

• Create, maintain and optimise Windows 10/11 Gold Images for enterprise deployment
• Assess and troubleshoot the existing Windows laptop provisioning process
• Design and implement a reliable Microsoft Autopilot and Intune deployment solution
• Build automated, low-touch Windows 11 provisioning processes
• Configure and optimise Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID and compliance policies
• Resolve issues with application deployment, device registration, hardware hashes, certificates and identity integration
• Improve provisioning performance, reduce manual intervention and introduce operational reporting
• Define end-to-end provisioning processes, SOPs and governance

Essential Skills

• Ability to combine traditional imaging/gold image approaches with modern Autopilot provisioning
• Strong hands-on experience creating and managing Windows Gold Images
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Autopilot
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management
• Strong experience with Entra ID, Conditional Access and device compliance
• Windows 11 deployment and endpoint automation
• PowerShell scripting
• Experience with SCCM / MECM / MDT or other traditional imaging technologies
• Win32 application deployment and application packaging
• Experience recovering failing endpoint provisioning services within large enterprise environments
• Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

• Experience within defence, manufacturing, engineering or other regulated environments
• Cyber Essentials Plus / ISO 27001 environments
• ITIL knowledge
• Experience integrating endpoint provisioning with ITSM, HR onboarding or asset management
