EUC Engineer

Our highly sought after and market leading client has a unique and exciting opportunity for an EUC Infrastructure Engineer, working with the EUC Manager to design and implement new systems, evaluate existing performance, and help plan for future requirements.

Position Details

The position is based Bristol (full time).

Responsibilities

1. Provide 2/3rd line technical support for company users on back office systems and desktops.
2. Build laptops, mobile phones, and be the first point of contact for IT issues through our ticketing system.
3. Administer servers and core equipment, including managing user accounts, end-user equipment, and servers.
4. Collaborate with colleagues, group company services, and third-party providers to ensure timely and reliable delivery of business services.
5. Utilize technical skills to resolve new or unforeseen problems.
6. Project manage proposed changes and new implementations.
7. Occasionally travel to other company sites to assist in project implementations or problem resolution, including hardware installations or upgrades.

About You

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with business managers.
• Robust experience in providing 3rd line support for corporate infrastructure systems in a multi-site organization (>500 persons).
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft software and server systems, including upgrades.
• Good understanding of hardware virtualization, particularly VMWare.
• Familiarity with Cisco network products, including IOS configuration.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco network products and using Putty for switch administration.
• Experience with scripting and IT automation.
• Knowledge of Mobile Device Management solutions.
• Experience with McAfee, SCCM, Ivanti.
• Experience with the latest versions of Citrix XenApp.
