Job summary

prosource.it is seeking an experienced EUC Engineer in Aberdeen for a hybrid role. You will deliver and support End User Computing solutions during a busy integration programme, working closely with infrastructure, security and project teams.

Join a people-centred technology team and help optimise the end-user environment, deploying Windows endpoints, managing devices and automating processes. Remote work may be possible outside Aberdeen, with contract or permanent options available.

Responsibilities

• Support EUC workstreams in business integration activities.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced EUC Engineer to support a significant integration programme. The successful candidate will provide hands‑on technical expertise across End User Computing technologies, helping to deliver, support and optimise the end-user environment during a period of increased change and project activity.

• Support the delivery of EUC workstreams associated with business integration activities
• Provide technical administration and support across the end-user computing estate
• Manage and resolve EUC-related incidents, requests and technical issues
• Build, deploy and maintain Windows endpoint solutions
• Support device lifecycle management and endpoint security initiatives
• Administer Microsoft 365 and associated workplace technologies
• Support mobile device management and modern workplace solutions
• Assist with migrations, deployments and technology integration activities
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Identify opportunities for automation and service improvement
• Work closely with infrastructure, security and project teams to deliver technical solutions

What to bring

• Strong End User Computing (EUC) engineering background
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments
• Windows 10/11 deployment, configuration and support
• Endpoint management using Microsoft Intune and/or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
• Device provisioning, imaging and lifecycle management
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale user environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Desirable Skills

• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions or business integration programmes
• Knowledge of Enterprise Mobility & Security technologies
• Experience with VDI or Desktop as a Service solutions
• Citrix technologies
• Microsoft certifications
• Knowledge of ITIL service management practices
• Experience working within energy sector/regulated industries
