Job description

• We’re looking to identify an experienced VAT specialist to be based in London to work on planning/advisory for new initiatives and ongoing business, primarily in the UK.
• You’ll need in depth technical advisory knowledge with the experience and capability to advise the business on activities, primarily in the UK but also supporting EMEA.
• You’ll also have the ability to support on complex audit and controversy projects in a hands-on and dynamic way, as well as managing networks and stakeholders.
• The right profile for this would be someone with demonstrable EMEA VAT advisory experience with a global consulting or law firm, or a blue chip commercial organisation.
• Previous experience in retail and/or ecommerce would be handy, but not essential.
• This role is office based, five days a week in London – UK or European career history is a prerequisite.

Market rate for this kind of position is typically£upper quartile, depending on experience. Please note that specific salary bandings for roles with individual clients may vary from these guidelines.
