Service Marketing Manager – Europe

Reporting to EU Service Manager

As Service Marketing leader for Europe, you are well versed in analysing market needs and anticipating compelling and innovative service offerings enticing to our customers. In conjunction with EU and local service management, you will be responsible for strengthening the service sales for PMLS, Ultrasound and IVD equipment. Your responsibilities:

  1. Analyse the market needs and anticipate requested evolution for the service offering.
  2. In conjunction with EU and Local service management, strengthen the service sales policy and define KPI rules according to different countries demand, in line with the sales policy for PMLS, Ultrasound and IVD equipment.
  3. Support and train after-sales service teams to offer SLA contracts, including warranty extension, preventive maintenance, hotline contract, IT and non-contract solutions.
  4. Respond for important tenders to define and secure answer strategy with regional and local country leaders.
  5. Help support, define and develop tools and solutions with HQ service marketing for quotation, contract and after sales operation.
  6. Develop and monitor service revenue forecast and dashboards.
  7. Coordinate with product service manager and National Service Manager (NSM) to develop new service products according to different countries business scenarios.
  8. Coordinate with HQ/local team to accomplish monthly EU Service Sales data analysis report.
  9. Any other tasks or responsibilities designated by the EU Service Manager and EU Deputy Service Manager.

The above tasks will be carried out with excellent cooperation and communication with EU Service in HQ and EU/local management organisation’s (Sales & Service).

Marketing Strategy and Planning:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote service offerings across the EU region.
  2. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  3. Define target customer segments and create tailored service marketing campaigns to address their specific needs.

Service Promotion:

  1. Develop and implement promotional campaigns to drive awareness and adoption of our service offerings.
  2. Create marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and digital content.
  3. Work with local country marketing teams to manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including website, social media and email marketing.

Customer Engagement and Retention:

  1. Develop strategies to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
  2. Further development of our customer feedback programs to gather insights and improve service offerings.
  3. Coordinate with the local service managers to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.

Sales Support:

  1. Collaborate with the EU sales & marketing teams to develop sales tools and training materials that promote our service offerings.
  2. Provide service marketing support for sales activities, including EU level trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings as and when required.

Partnerships and Collaborations:

  1. Identify and develop partnerships with key stakeholders, including distributors, 3rd party service providers, and industry associations.
  2. Coordinate joint marketing initiatives with EU sales and marketing teams to expand the market reach of service.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  1. Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics to assess the effectiveness and performance of service campaigns and initiatives.
  2. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for improvement.

What are we looking for in you?

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with comprehensive service sales & marketing experience.
  2. Minimum of 5 years commercial experience in the medical devices industry with a similar product portfolio to ours.
  3. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong service MARKETING background demonstrating experience of new product offerings in medical devices service sales.
  4. Service sales management experience background is preferred (SLA sales and management, SLA growth plans, increasing parts supply sales etc).
  5. High level presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact that builds effective relationships.
  6. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  7. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  8. Creativity: Innovative approach to problem-solving and campaign development.
  9. Customer Focus: Strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs.
  10. Project/task management: Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  11. Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
  12. Ability to work in the country for which you have applied without the requirement for company sponsorship.
