Job summary

Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited is seeking an EU Head of Regulatory Approvals for Drone Delivery to lead the EU/UK regulatory affairs strategy for Prime Air. You will own the EU regulatory approval programme end to end, coordinating with EASA and national aviation authorities, and sign submissions for site approvals.

You will drive airworthiness and safety cases, manage in-country consultants, and work with Engineering and Regulatory Affairs to deliver authorisations and a scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical field.
• Experience in program or project management.
• Extensive experience working directly with EU National Aviation Authorities on authorisations, type certification, airworthiness or operational approval.

Responsibilities

• Own Operational Authorisation and airworthiness applications for EU site approvals, from scoping to grant.
• Build and own relationships with EU National Aviation Authorities; sign submissions and represent Prime Air in authority meetings.
• Act as Prime Air's EU airworthiness point of contact to EASA, working with Regulatory Affairs and Engineering teams on design validation inputs.
• Own the complete application package and its submission for every EU site, integrating airspace and air risk work.
• Own the SORA safety case: ground risk assessment, SAIL determination, and environmental evaluations.
• Manage in-country regulatory consultants for local-language filing and authority logistics.
• Build the evidence base and authority track record to position Prime Air for future certifications and scalable operations.
