Job summary

Vanguard in Manchester, UK seeks a European Data Governance Analyst to operationalise the governance framework. You will work under the Head of EU Data Governance, create data quality dashboards, map CDEs, and support data lineage and controls across European functions.

The role requires extensive data analysis, process documentation and stakeholder engagement in a regulated environment. This is a hybrid role with office presence three days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Significant experience as Data Analyst or Business Analyst with process documentation.
• Proven ability to produce dashboards, reports and MI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement governance requirements within assigned business area.
• Produce data quality dashboards, scorecards and MI; map CDEs.
• Support data lineage, mapping, validation, control testing and metadata reviews.
• Document end-to-end data processes and governance artefacts.
• Maintain data glossary, data dictionary and metadata records.
