Overview

Join our expanding global organization as a Business Analyst (BA) and become a key player in our IT team!

We are looking for a dynamic individual to help define business problems, execute strategic improvements, and deliver impactful solutions. In this role, you will investigate complex and ambiguous business situations, drive efficiency, and strengthen business processes. You will adopt a holistic view to identify and analyse problems and opportunities, engage with internal and external stakeholders for feasibility assessments, and document artifacts to manage scoping requirements for strategic IT projects. Your ability to develop models and diagrams to communicate data requirements, scrutinize cost-effectiveness, conduct root cause analysis, and implement best practices within an Agile framework will be crucial.

Responsibilities
  • Define business problems and requirements for strategic IT projects.
  • Investigate complex and ambiguous business situations and drive process improvements.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders for feasibility assessments.
  • Document artifacts to manage scoping requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Develop models and diagrams to communicate data requirements and analyses.
  • Scrutinize cost-effectiveness and perform root cause analysis; implement best practices within an Agile framework.
Qualifications
  • Substantial energy sector experience and experience in producing functional analyses for Trading Operations.
  • Exposure to a Business Analyst role with direct exposure to complex ETRM implementation projects.
  • Experience in applying modelling languages to analyse and document designs.
  • Hands-on software configuration experience in complex information system context (ETRM).
  • Understanding the life cycle of a project.
