Overview

Job Title: ETL Tester Lead
Location: London/hybrid
Salary/Rate: Up to £610 per day INSIDE IR35

Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading financial services clients! They are currently looking for a skilled ETL Tester Lead to join their team for a contract until the end of the year.

Responsibilities

1. Write Test Plans, Test Cases and executes test for the Manual /ETL / Visualization projects
2. Publish test results, track defects
3. Communicate with test Lead/BAs / Designers / Developers on the issues and risks
4. Produce the testing artifacts for a project as per the QA process
5. Responsible for end to end execution of testing activities
6. Responsible for automating tests
7. Quality Assurance Process, including Planning, Testing, Defect Reporting and Problem Resolution

Required Skills/Experience

1. Expertise in ETL testing, DW testing, ETL/ELT processes, SQL scripting and queries.
2. Experience in writing complex SQL queries / writing test scripts, execution and reporting
3. Experience/knowledge on Structured and unstructured data testing.
4. Need to have understanding/experience on Azure data projects (testing).
5. Good knowledge on core concepts of Azure such as Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse (Azure SQL DW), Cosmos DB and Azure Data Lake.
6. Experience in data testing (DWH) and knowledge of various data testing concepts.
7. Experience of Insurance Domain preferred
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
9. Hands-on experience in writing scripts/programs using Python/pyspark.
10. Experience in data testing automation is an added advantage.
11. Experience leading or working with Agile development methodology.
