The Role

As an ETL / ELT Engineering SME, you will be working on designing, developing, and supporting data applications and infrastructure using ETL tools such as IDMC and Informatica Power Center. This position offers a chance to work with cutting-edge data technologies, providing significant impact on data management and processing within the organization.

Your responsibilities:

• Implementing and managing data processing workflows to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
• Utilizing cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) for scalable and secure data management.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and optimize cloud-based data solutions.
• Ensuring data quality, integration, and performance through best practices and advanced ETL techniques.
• Implement data quality checks & standardization in the code.
• Document all mappings, mapplets, and rules in detail and hand over documentation to the customer.
• Create solutions and environments to enable Analytics and Business Intelligence capabilities.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Strong knowledge of cloud computing architecture, technical design, and implementations including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS delivery models.
• Working experience in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IDMC) components - application integration, data integration, Informatica data quality.
• Strong functional understanding of RDBMS, DWH, and BI concepts.
• Strong SQL skills and performance tuning capabilities.
• Excellent knowledge of the Informatica platform and integration among its components and services.
• Excellent data analysis and profiling skills using Informatica and Excel.
• Experience in infrastructure architecture, including designing, hardware sizing, effort estimation, and security.
• Experience with Data Lake and Data Warehouse environments.
• Previous experience in data analysis activities.
• Experience in developing application integrations using SOAP/REST APIs.
• Data modeling experience, understanding of AWS concepts, and knowledge of Spark is a plus.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Working knowledge of Spark.
