Job Description

We’re looking to hire an ETF Portfolio Manager to join L&G Asset Management!

In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day investment management duties of the ETFs, ensuring all ETFs perform in line with their investment objectives. You’ll maintain compliance with UCITS and regulatory standards, and drive the development of portfolio management and operational processes. You’ll also play a key role in analyzing and monitoring risk, tracking exposures of physical funds, and providing support to the ETF Capital Markets, Sales, and Distribution teams.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Portfolio management of physical ETFs
2. Monitoring exposures, tracking, and risk of physical ETFs
3. Monitoring fund performance, NAV reconciliation, and attribution
4. Preparing rebalancing calculations and providing index change analysis
5. Trading underlying physical equities, executing orders, and liaising with brokers
6. Ensuring appropriate trade execution and settlements with Authorized Participants
7. Building bespoke tools for portfolio management, including daily analysis, risk monitoring, and order execution. Improving existing solutions to increase reliability and scalability
8. Providing ad hoc support to Sales and addressing client queries related to Portfolio Management. Assisting with RFPs and providing fund-specific data and commentary
9. Liaising with Investment Operations to ensure ETF-specific data accuracy and availability, including oversight of the factsheet approval process

Qualifications: Who we’re looking for:

1. Degree-level education; further qualifications (IMC, CFA, CAIA) are advantageous
2. Advanced Excel skills (VBA preferred) and knowledge of Bloomberg
3. Experience managing physical equity portfolios
4. Understanding of index calculation and ETF trading across primary/secondary markets
5. Knowledge of ETF replication models and UCITS regulations
