Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd. is seeking an ETF Platform Developer (Python) in London on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on designing, developing and scaling production Python applications within a front-office ETF technology environment, collaborating with PMs and quants.

The successful engineer will modernise trading tools, improve observability, and deliver new capabilities across investment platforms, with a focus on reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Python engineering experience.
• Experience building and supporting production-grade applications.
• PostgreSQL and Snowflake expertise.
• AWS cloud experience (ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS or similar).
• CI/CD, automated testing and software engineering best practices.
• Experience within asset management, investment management, capital markets or financial services.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support production-grade Python applications.
• Enhance investment workflows supporting portfolio management, trading and risk analysis.
• Improve platform scalability, resilience and operational support processes.
• Build and maintain APIs, integrations and automated delivery pipelines.
• Work closely with Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Analysts to deliver business-critical enhancements.
• Strengthen monitoring, observability, testing and production support capabilities.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and application modernisation initiatives.
