Job summary

Arm seeks an ETF Platform Developer (Python) in London, hybrid role. You will design, develop and support production-grade Python applications within a high-performing ETF technology team, collaborating with PMs, quants and investment tech staff.

Responsibilities include enhancing workflows for portfolio management and trading, improving scalability and observability, building APIs and CI/CD pipelines, and helping modernise front-office tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Python engineering experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
• AWS cloud experience (ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS or similar).
• CI/CD, automated testing and best practices.
• Experience in asset management or financial services.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.

We are partnering with a leading global investment management organisation seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join a high-performing ETF Technology team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with Portfolio Managers, Quantitative Analysts and Investment Technology teams, developing and enhancing a suite of business-critical applications that support ETF portfolio management and investment decision-making.

The successful candidate will play a key role in modernising and scaling existing trading and investment tools, improving engineering quality, reducing technical debt and delivering new capabilities across a sophisticated front-office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support production-grade Python applications
