Estimator / Quantity Surveyor - Solihull

Job Type: Permanent, Contract, Full Time

We are an established and well-respected construction company. Due to a growing order book and an increasing volume of opportunities, we are currently seeking an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role is suitable for a qualified and ambitious individual who can work independently and is eager to make a difference in a dynamic business environment.

Our projects include industrial and commercial fit-outs, schools, refurbishments, prisons, court buildings, and new builds, with typical project values ranging from £50k to £10m.

The role involves all aspects of estimating and quantity surveying (pre-contract and post-contract), offering an exciting opportunity to enhance an existing setup:

1. Handling initial tender and quotation inquiries
2. Communicating directly with clients to understand their needs
3. Conducting site surveys
4. Managing sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure value and quality
5. Overseeing tender submissions to ensure high quality and competitiveness
6. Supporting Project Managers with valuations, variations, and final accounts
7. Contributing to senior management and ongoing improvement initiatives
