Job Description

At WSP, we offer opportunities for growth and impactful work. As an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor/Cost & Commercial Manager, you will be involved in pre- and post-contract QS services, including measurement, estimating, procurement, and post-contract commercial management across diverse projects.

Your Team

You will join a diverse team of Quantity Surveyors across sectors like highways, structures, public realm, property, and maritime. You will be part of our PMCM team of around 400 colleagues in the UK, providing services in Building and Infrastructure projects. Your base could be in one of our offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Teesside, Bristol, or Guildford.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Associate RICS working towards MRICS or similar qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of estimating at various design stages, measurement methods, digital tools, and post-contract administration (NEC, JCT)
Desirable Attributes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Passion for making a difference
  • Relevant professional qualification or working towards one (e.g., CICES, AcostE)
  • Degree or higher education qualification
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with CostX, CEMAR, NEC Contracts
  • Ability to travel as needed
