GS3 Recruitment is working with an established specialist contractor based in Glasgow, with a strong reputation for delivering refurbishment, repair and specialist construction projects across Scotland.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their commercial team.
This is a varied role combining estimating and quantity surveying, giving you involvement from initial tender through to commercial management and final account.
They are also open to considering a more junior candidate with the right construction background, attitude and potential. Full support and development will be available for someone looking to progress their career.
Working closely with the commercial and operational teams, you will be involved in pricing new opportunities as well as managing the commercial elements of live projects.
The role will involve a combination of office and site-based work, with responsibility across multiple projects and the opportunity to develop your commercial experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience within quantity surveying, estimating or commercial construction, with the ability to work across both pre-contract and post-contract activities.
Experience in refurbishment, repair, fit-out or specialist construction would be advantageous.
You should be commercially aware, organised and confident communicating with a range of stakeholders.
For a more experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, the role offers autonomy and responsibility from the outset.
