Job Description

  • Analyse property and construction project requirements to estimate costs.
  • Prepare detailed cost budgets and cost estimates for new and existing projects.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to clarify details and specifications.
  • Review blueprints and product specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Track project costs to ensure they align with the initial estimation.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure best prices and quality.
  • Conduct risk analysis for each project to minimise cost overruns.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest construction methods and materials in the property industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of the property industry and construction processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
