You will balance manufacturing costs and customer value with strategic objectives, liaising with customers and internal teams to optimise pricing while maintaining strong relationships.

The role demands a strong technical background in precision engineering, excellent communication, and proven experience in value-based pricing and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Proven estimating experience in precision machining/manufacturing sectors.
• Strong understanding of CNC processes, materials, costs.
• Excellent interpretation of drawings, tolerances, and GD&T.
• Experience applying value-based pricing and maintaining profitability.

Responsibilities

• Review enquiries and drawings to prepare accurate quotations.
• Develop pricing balancing costs, value, and market conditions.
• Assess methods, times, materials, tooling, and inspection requirements.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure costing accuracy.
• Collaborate with production/quality to optimise cost.
• Engage with customers to clarify requirements and build relationships.
• Maintain quotation records in ERP and data integrity.
