Job summary

HRGO Recruitment in Winsford is seeking an Estimator/Planner to join our expanding team. You will interpret drawings, prepare plans and pricing tailored to customer requirements, and support project delivery from early planning through documentation.

You will interact with customers and internal teams to plan effectively, manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records, ensuring commercial viability of solutions.

Qualifications

• Estimating or planning experience in a similar role.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience using estimating, planning or drawing software.
• Masterpiece or similar software experience is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Experience in a busy environment with competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing architectural and working drawings
• Taking measurements and preparing accurate take-offs
• Producing plans, job sheets and associated documentation
• Calculating costs and preparing quotations
• Developing practical and commercially viable solutions
• Working with customers to understand their requirements
• Providing guidance and support throughout the planning process
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure projects are properly prepared
• Managing several projects and priorities simultaneously
