Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Estimator for a growing metal fabrication company in Mansfield. You will prepare estimates for architectural metalwork, sheet metal fabrication and structural steelwork, using Statii ERP, and review drawings to establish scope and costs.

There is strong progression path and training; Monday to Friday 9-5:30 with on-site parking. The role offers salary of £42,000 - £50,000 plus progression and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working as an Estimator.
• Background in Metal Fabrication or similar.

Responsibilities

• Review customer enquiries, technical drawings and project specifications to establish scope and costs.
• Prepare detailed quotations for architectural metalwork, sheet metal fabrication and structural steelwork.
• Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Calculate material quantities, labour requirements and associated project costs.
• Conduct site visits and surveys, taking accurate measurements to support estimates.
• Monday to Friday, 9 - 5:30.
