Job summary

Robertson Recruitment Services Limited is seeking an experienced estimator to join our projects team in the United Kingdom. You will review drawings, specifications and tender documents, and produce accurate cost estimates for labour, materials and subcontractors.

This role offers a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times. You will identify risks and cost-saving opportunities while maintaining records and liaising with clients, suppliers and internal teams to deliver

Qualifications

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Estimator to join a growing projects team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional with experience preparing accurate and competitive estimates.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday. Flexible start times as long as you are doing 40 hours a week.

Key responsibilities

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents
• Preparing detailed cost estimates for labour, materials and subcontractors

Requirements

• Previous estimating experience within construction, fit-out, manufacturing or a related project-based environment
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with estimating or project-management software would be beneficial
