Job summary

Construction is seeking an Estimator - Flat Roofing for office-based work in the Bedfordshire area. The role involves promoting a range of industrial and commercial roofing projects and producing detailed cost estimates for flat roofing and construction works.

The successful candidate will conduct take-offs, review subcontractor quotations and supplier costs, and support contract reviews with the Contracts Department.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as an Estimator within the roofing industry.
• Ideally have experience in flat roofing.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Estimator position promoting a range of Industrial & Commercial Roofing projects.
• Conduct take-offs to support accurate project assessments.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing for flat roofing and construction projects.
• Assist with obtaining and reviewing subcontractor quotations and supplier costs.
• Support contract review meetings with the Contracts Department for secured projects.
• Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining high accuracy, organisation, and quality standards.
