ABOUT THE ROLE

About the Opportunity:

Due to high project demand and our client striving for business growth, they’re looking to expand their estimating department within their Interiors division by bringing in a new team member with a strategic plan to become a senior member of the business.

  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
  • Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
  • Performing risk and value management and cost control
  • Able to read drawings and perform take-offs
  • Advising on procurement strategy
  • Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
  • Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
  • Allocating work to subcontractors
REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with subcontractors. Degree qualification preferred. The candidate must be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious, and eager to advance their career. You should be highly motivated and a strong team player. A consistent employment record with at least two years at each employer is essential.
