The role:

• Analyze tender documentation and capture client requirements.
• Produce accurate BOQ for pricing, reflecting client needs, with knowledge of CESSM 3, Highways Method of Measurement, or SMM7.
• Cost traditional and design-build contracts.
• Prepare material and sub-contractor enquiry documents.
• Conduct site visits, gather information, and incorporate it into tender pricing.
• Assess rates, create new or insert quotes from sub-contractors and materials.
• Prepare competitive commercial submissions for review and approval.
• Have working knowledge of NEC3 and JCT contracts, HSQE legislation, and construction methods.
• Attend pre- and post-tender meetings.
• Understand building materials and plant requirements.

You will have:

• At least 3 years of estimating experience.
