Location: Dundee
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 8am - 5pm / Mon - Fri
Rate: £60-£70k + package
Fully office based



As a Civils Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of civil engineering works, including earthworks, drainage, roads and utilities. You'll work closely with the pre-construction and delivery teams to ensure tenders are commercially sound and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates from first principles
• Analyse drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes
• Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering options
• Support bid submissions and attend tender review meetings
• Maintain and update estimating databases and cost libraries

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in a similar Estimator role within civil engineering or groundworks
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and pricing
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• A background in site engineering, quantity surveying or project management would be highly beneficial
