Thorn Baker are currently recruiting for an Estimator on a permanent basis for their client based in Kirkby in Ashfield.

Are you detail-oriented with a background in estimating and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? We're looking for an Estimator to join our friendly team in Kirkby-in-Ashfield to support large-scale kitchen and bedroom contract projects.

Estimator's Key Responsibilities:

Create accurate estimates and quotations for large contract projects within agreed time scales

Liaise with the Sales Team to ensure all queries are resolved efficiently

Support and advise the Estimating Team where required

Communicate with suppliers and customers to ensure correct product specifications

Maintain accurate records and in-house system housekeeping

Carry out general administrative tasks and any other duties as required

What We're Looking For From an Estimator:

Experience in a similar estimating role

Ability to read engineering drawings and convert them into quotations

Professional communication skills - verbal and written

Office-based experience

Friendly, personable, and highly organised

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent time management and relationship-building skills

Experience using CAD or similar software (Desirable)

Background in manufacturing or a similar sector (Desirable)

Working hours - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4pm with 30 mins break - They can be flexible with the working hours for the right candidate

Salary - £27,000 - £33,000 per annum (DOE)
